Most people look at your appearance and the way you carry yourself and automatically draw up conclusions about your life. They think that they can sum up your life and put you in a box. The sad fact is that no one sees what goes on behind closed doors. No one fully understands your life until they have walked in your shoes. Most people are easily fooled. If you are good at acting, you can get away with anything. I think that life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you handle it. “Fake it till you make it”, is an adage that has worked for many years. You are what you think but not being able to live life on your own terms is heartbreaking. As we grow up, responsibilities start to pile up and we convince ourselves not to thirstily pursue our passions. We let our circumstances dictate how we live our lives all the while convincing ourselves that the life we have is really what we deserve. I heard something interesting today, “the truth is never forgotten, and people just get better at lying to themselves and everyone around them.” In my opinion, success is being able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it, and how you want to do it.
We know that something has to give. A revolution has begun. We must not put off until tomorrow what we can do today. People who get things done in the world do not wait for the spirit to move them; they move the spirit, consider the freedom fighters. Change is not always easy to accept but it is very necessary. A wise man once said that necessity is the mother of invention. The invention has already happened but with the changing times, these inventions could use some upgrades. This is a process that is commonly referred to as reinvention. According to Webster dictionary, reinvention means to re-do and make as if new. That is what is necessary for most of our systems. The best way to do this is through social innovation. By using new strategies, concepts and ideas we will find our way back to the basics. This revolution necessitates vehicle like “in the radar.”
